With varying shades of gold, silver, and other metallic tones, the "Golden Drawings" softly glow in the light. The drawings, small improvisational collages, are intuitively assembled like musical riffs. Yet, the metal pigments speak quietly of value and seduction in economic systems, of gilded architecture, of standards and currency.  Some include pencil or ink lines spaced in even increments like measurements while others include areas of expressive paint. The Golden Drawings are singular works that show well in groups and arrangements.
